In recent years, Cambodia has made progress in efforts to address violence against children and important steps have been taken to develop core laws, policies, specific strategies and regulatory frameworks for child protection. The Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC) has taken action in many sectors to address violence, abuse, exploitation, and neglect, as well as including these issues in the National Strategic Development Plan and the National Action Plan on Violence Against Women.
