2007, research study by TUC for accessing the feasibility of methodology for hidden population in Bangkok and Chiang rai. 2011, transferred to MOPH for strengthening the surveillance system among hidden population in 3 tourist provinces (Chiang mai, Chonburi and Phuket). 2013, MOPH expanded to Bangkok, Nakorn-rachasrima, and Rachburi.

The study was conducted with objectives to explore the barriers to access and utilization of Prevention of Mother-to-Child Transmission (PMTCT) services by pregnant key populations and describe the factors of not accessing PMTCT services.

In 2012, PSI/Vietnam conducted the third and final round of the Sex Workers (SW) and Sex Workers Who Inject Drugs (SW-IDU) Behavioral Survey, following previous rounds conducted in 2009 and 2011. The purpose of the survey was to inform and evaluate SW and SW-IDU programming.

Pacific Island countries and territories (PICTs) are diverse; political regimes, cultural norms and languages vary widely. The forms of sex work undertaken across the Pacific are as diverse as the social, economic and political contexts in which they are situated.

This policy paper argues that CSWs can be empowered and emancipated and suggests that HIV/AIDS control and prevention efforts in India must recognize that ad-hoc promotion of condom use or similar such programs will not be enough, and that more extensive developmental work aimed at betterment of basic living conditions of CSWs is required to fulfill HIV/AIDS prevention goals.

Behavioral sentinel surveillance (BSS) has been conducted by NCHADS to document behavior changes among sentinel groups since 1997.
