However, in recognition that programs may want to conduct a more streamlined analysis, key steps can be found on pages 7-16. Each step can be streamlined based on time, resources, and information available for a gender analysis.

Kauntim mi tu, an integrated bio-behavioural survey (IBBS) of women and girls who sell and exchange sex (from here on referred to as FSW), and men who have sex with men and transgender women (from here on referred to as MSM/TG), was conducted to support the scale-up of essential HIV prevention and treatment services for these populations.

The 2015 Afghanistan Demographic and Health Survey (AfDHS) is designed to provide data for monitoring the population and health situation in Afghanistan. The 2015 AfDHS is the first Demographic and Health Survey conducted in Afghanistan in collaboration with The Demographic and Health Surveys Program.
