In this research, the Coordination of Action Research on AIDS and Mobility in Asia (CARAM Asia) has focused on a group of migrant workers who are especially vulnerable to HIV: males who have sex with males, otherwise known as “MSM.” MSM migrant workers suffer multiple layers of stigma and discrimination, which, in combination with the risky sexual behaviors they engage in heightens their risk of HIV infection.

In response to the rising epidemic, UNAIDS 90-90-90 Strategy, specifically discusses the importance of taking specific steps to increase HIV testing among young people, expand treatment options for adolescents, adapt health services to adolescents’ needs, mobilize social support, and empower young people. The game changers introduced for Asia and Pacific in the strategy includes scaling up prevention programmes for men who have sex with men and transgender people, including condoms and PrEP, especially for us – the younger generation.

The objectives of the presentation are as followed
To estimate HIV prevalence in two sentinel groups: women attending ANC clinics and MSM
To compare the HIV prevalence in the routine PMTCT program and the ANC sentinel surveillance
To provide data needed for estimating HIV infection in the general population, trend analysis, monitoring, and program planning
To conduct a population size estimation for men who have sex with men

The primary objectives of the presentation is to estimate the size of MSM population in Cambodia. The second objectives is identify risky sexual behaviors among MSM, to assess accessibility to HIV prevention, care, and support services among MSM and to assess HIV and AIDS intervention coverage.
