The results of this study will be used to design new interventions, inform current project activities and surveillance studies, and contribute to our efforts at modeling the epidemic in Bangladesh.

This study is the second round of the integrated bio-behavioral survey (IBBS) conducted among 200 female sex workers (FSWs), both street and establishment based, in Pokhara.

From October 2005 to June 2006, IBBS was conducted among selected population groups in Hanoi, Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), An Giang, and Can Tho.

Existing pledges, commitments and trends suggest the rate of increase may be declining and that available funds will be US$ 8.9 billion in 2006 and US$ 10 billion in 2007.
